The Seditious Tendency of PKFZ Wee and Tara Telur Khairy

I asked if the little boy got balls to do a police report.......maka datanglah satu Singaporean based macha melalak tak tentu arah.....anyway....

Today MCA Youth came forward

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA Youth has lodged a police report over the publication of the front-page article by Perkasa in its official organ Suara Perkasa that called on the Government to detain MCA Youth chief Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong under the Internal Security Act (ISA).

The police report was lodged by Selangor MCA Youth chief Dr Kow Cheong Wei, who was accompanied by about 20 members of Federal Territory and Selangor MCA Youth, at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters here, about 3pm Sunday.

Dr Kow claimed that the contents of the report published by Suara Perkasa on Thursday were too extreme.

"We hope the Home Ministry will revoke the Perkasa publication licence," he told reporters at the district police headquarters. - Bernama

Well let us look at the issue here according to the Sedition Act 1948

A “seditious tendency” is a tendency—
(a) to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection against any Ruler or against any Government;

(b) to excite the subjects of any Ruler or the inhabitants of any territory governed by any Government to attempt to procure in the territory of the Ruler or governed by the Government, the alteration, otherwise than by lawful means, of any matter as by law established;

(c) to bring into hatred or contempt or to excite disaffection against the administration of justice in Malaysia or in any State;

(d) to raise discontent or disaffection amongst the subjects of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong or of the Ruler of any State or amongst the inhabitants of Malaysia or of any State;

(e) to promote feelings of ill will and hostility between different races or classes of the population of Malaysia;
or

(f) to question any matter, right, status, position, privilege,sovereignty or prerogative established or protected by the provisions of Part III of the Federal Constitution or Article 152, 153 or 181 of the Federal Constitution.

Let us now examine the disputed statement made by Wee

KUALA LUMPUR: Scholarships given to students for overseas studies will focus more at the post-graduate level, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

“It will be done gradually so that we can build up institutions of high standards and ranking in this country.

“But at the same time, the critical courses will continue for a while until we build up our local capacity,” said the Prime Minister at a press conference after meeting Islamic religious and fardhu ain class teachers here yesterday.

Najib was commenting on calls for the Government to continue awarding scholarships to top scorers to further their studies abroad.

In a related development, MCA Youth chief Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong urged the Public Service Department to maintain the overseas scholarships.

“We understand the Govern ment cannot afford to send all bright students overseas, but we hope the same number of scholarships will be retained for those who truly deserve help,” said the Deputy Education Minister.

Dr Wee also asked whether the Mara scholarship programme for bumiputra students would be scrapped together with the PSD scholarships.

“If the Government is only doing away with the PSD scholarships but retain the Mara scholarships, this will not be in line with the 1Malaysia concept that the Government is promoting,” he said. More here

Read that statement carefully....

Did Wee question Malay Rights enshrined under the Constitution by challenging the Government planned policy of scrapping PSD scholarships without scrapping MARA scholarships?

If he did, look at item (f) in the definition of Seditious tendency.........

BTW Suara Perkasa...gua budget lu silap topik.........your inaugural headline should have been

Detain Wee Under Sedition Act

The Ministry made the first move, MCA followed suit.........

What's your next move Perkasa?....

The flip side on this issue now is whether Suara Perkasa Article promoted feelings of ill will and hostility between different races or classes of the population of Malaysia?

Did it?

When Wee uttered that statement, was he speaking as a Deputy Minister of Education or MCA youth Head or an individual Malaysian of Chinese decent?

Go figure......

Tok Brehing.......if I were you get all the Malay NGOs to do a police report on Wee's statement...and let KDN figure out who have actually "promoted feelings of ill will and hostility between different races or classes of the population of Malaysia by questioning Article 153"........

Just wondering.....if that happens....would the Chinese defend a PKFZ tainted operator?
