The Building Blocks of the KKKKKajang Move

Kajang By-Election: Q & A With Selangor CM

The Kajang by-election issue has sparked polemics from various parties, from the common man to political practitioners. This has caused many eyes to be focused on Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim as the Chief Minister of Selangor. Follow the interview with him.
How will Anwar’s win change politics in Selangor?
Anwar has long been in the political arena. Now is the time to assess his ability, in preparation for the 14th General Election (GE14) and the Sarawak state election.
If we can show continued and increased support, the at the GE14, we will have a better chance in winning.
In the last election, we (PR) won more single votes from the BN coalition. Unfortunately, because of seat allocation, BN won more seats than Pakatan.
Through the steps we are taking, not only can we win more of the people’s votes, but also increase the number of seats to allow us to win enough parliamentary seats to form the Malaysian government.
How will Anwar contribute to developments in Selangor?
Anwar was the Finance Minister for 8 to 9 years. Therefore, he has great understanding on budgetary measures and the financial situation in Malaysia.
By assessing his experience and financial commitments to be implemented, we will know if we are on the right track or not. This knowledge, together with the options of directions and impact of the implementation is very precious.
How can it happen?
Firstly, Anwar has to fight for the people of Selangor. He needs to show if he deserves to be supported, because the people are always watching and questioning. Anwar’s passion is an advantage for the people of Selangor.
What about the speculation that Anwar wants the Chief Minister’s post?
A: The speculation needs to be tested first, Actually, Actually, Anwar is looking beyond the Selangor Menteri Besar’s position. To cut a long story short, the ultimate aim is federal level, with Selangor as the stepping stone. The combination of corporate experience and administering a state government will provide a good head start on challenging for Putrajaya.
Does the party no longer believe in you?
If I had lost the confidence of the party, I may not be the Chief Minister today. However, I admit that politics is more volatile compared to corporate life.
I have a reformation agenda, and if I was not allowed to realise this reformation agenda at the time, it would have been better for me to just resign. Currently, the reformation agenda is being pursued and implemented despite under the flurry situation of politics.
How do you see the Selangor government in facing future challenges?
We built the state reserves over the last four years. Now, not only can we talk about ideas, but we also have the money to translate the ideas into physical forms.
In the next five to eight years, not only is Selangor on a strong foundation, it will also be a happening place.
The reserve is essential because the Federal government would not lend the necessary funds that Selangor needs to develop. Are we supposed to talk and hope? For me, politics is more than mere rhetoric, because words cannot fill stomachs. First, get the money you need, then only think about what you want to eat.
Do you have any intention of stepping down from the CM post?
We do not want to talk about the matter, and we do not want a change in the Chief Minister for the time being. We want to face the election first.
I have no intention of resigning. Whatever happens after the by-election, we will discuss it at Pakatan Rakyat level.
Do you have support from PAS and DAP? How about support from PKR?
Yes, I have their support. For the party (PKR), I leave it to God (laughs).
Are you being removed because you do not want to grant contracts to party members?
For me, the party and the people have to believe in the principle of good governance. We continue to receive support in the election in May, in fact, public support increased because we practices transparency, accountability and we are able to perform our duties.
We cannot and do not want to change that. In politics, we should always open the eyes of the people.
What about speculation that there are certain parties who are not happy because they could not get contracts?
(Interrupting)…speculation says that I have already resigned twice (laughs)! Now we are at the stage of reformation…not everyone will be happy with the process.
Are you going to be CM for a third term?
No. I have prepared the government for my successor. I am not worried. I feel blessed and happy to be given the opportunity to raise the people’s flag. Whatever happens to me, the flag should continue to wave.

OOOOK.....
So lets see...
What is this Long story anyway...
Cita la sikit pakcik....kalu lu taknak cita pun ada 60 hari lagi orang akan tanye apekebenda lu nak merepek....gua tau lu cover line tapi ada sekor mamat ni giler merepek doe
What PKR and Pakatan Selangor need is a fortification so that we can expedite reforms and simultaneously fend off political attacks and manouvres from Umno. We need as many of our top leaders around Selangor to defend Selangor because it remains the crown jewel of any political coalition in the country.
Hence the decision to field Anwar Ibrahim for a state seat as this provides an option that we can readily exercise should the need arise. (here)
Oh please....
Can you please explain how Selangor would fall if Najib is removed?
Even if there is total chaos as how you have predicted
The unscrupulous attack and schemes to take Selangor by hook or by crook will begin the moment the weak Najib is removed. Even as we speak, Umno’s cards are all too obvious in the latest round of racial and religious controversies stirred up in Selangor in the last few months.
Should Najib fall, expect a full blown manipulation of racial and religious issues to create mistrust and frustration with the Selangor government.
How exactly would having Anwar as an ADUN or the MB of Selangor gonna stop that?
OK let me indulge you on this possibility which I think have the seeds here
The target is Selangor, the jewel in Pakatan Rakyat’s crown. Najib wants back Selangor and he wants it back this month. So Umno has to do a ‘Kelantan December 1977’ revisited to get back Selangor in January 2010. (RPK Jan 8 , 2010 here)
Go back to basic brader....

How now Yellow Cow?

ROTAN & MENGEPIN LOCENG...

serta MENGKIASKANYA SEPERTI lembu berloceng makan rumput....

Did that really happened or was it this one?

SUNGKAI 25 Jan.

(here)

Did The CONstitutional "Expert" misread the Federal Constitution?

More crap here
Oh dear....another Jongang nak kacau daun

Why don't we all read the Federal Constitution...just to see if this expert has read it correctly

Article 3.
(1) islam is the religion of the Federation; but other religions may be practised in peace and harmony in any part of the Federation.
 (2) in every State other than States not having a Ruler the position of the Ruler as the head of the religion of islam in his State in the manner and to the extent acknowledged and declared by the Constitution of that State, and, subject to that Constitution, all rights, privileges, prerogatives and powers enjoyed by him as head of that religion, are unaffected and unimpaired; but in any acts, observances or ceremonies with respect to which the Conference of Rulers has agreed that they should extend to the Federation as a whole each of the other Rulers shall in his capacity of head of the religion of islam authorize the yang di-pertuan Agong to represent him.
 (3) the Constitution of the States of Malacca, penang, Sabah and Sarawak shall each make provision for conferring on the yang di-pertuan Agong the position of head of the religion of islam in that State (4) nothing in this Article derogates from any other provision of this Constitution.
 (5) notwithstanding anything in this Constitution the yang di-pertuan Agong shall be the head of the religion of islam in the Federal territories of Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and putrajaya; and for this purpose parliament may by law make provisions for regulating islamic religious affairs and for constituting a Council to advise the yang di-pertuan Agong in matters relating to the religion of islam. Dear Allah Part 2: A Lookback into the Allah Ciplak Saga and SatD's 5 Point Solution

Dear Allah SWT.

It's been awhile since I last wrote to you publicly. I seldom do it, for reasons only known to you and me.... Just like the Indonesia Bajai orang bilang mau ke kiri atau ke kanan itu antara dia sama Tuhan aja yang tahu.

I know that you know everything.....but for the manusia yang mudah lupa dan malas baca I shall reproduce it again....

Dear Allah Subhanawataala
My name is satD (but you know the real person before I was even born), I am one of your hamba living in a country called Malaysia created by a bunch of people back in 1957. This country has Islam as its official religion and guarantees religious freedom to others through its constitution. This country also specifically has a provision that protects Muslims against the propagation of other religion (alhamdullilah to our founding fathers for insisting that into our constitution). The actual enforcement of such provision is to be gazetted into the individual state constitution as the individual states Jabatan Agama Islam will be the agent to ensure that the provision under the Federal Constitution are adhered to.
I am saddened with the current on-goings on the need of using your name in the religious documents of other faith. It seems that the overall discussion have been specifically focused on the use of your name in Bahasa Malaysia which is our national language. Promoters of the idea have been focusing on the fact that your name have been used since 1800's. They insist on the use specifically for their Bahasa Malaysia documents ONLY and not in our Second Language which is English.
In the past few weeks, the cyberspace have been debating this issue from the linguistic perspective of using your name but I have always wondered on a few things that I think only you would know.
  1. If Islam came to our shores prior to Christianity, would the locals of our land then would have been addressing you the Supreme Being by Allah Subhanahuwataala
  2. Could the person who was tasked to propagate the other religion; specifically Christianity would have arrived circa 1600's after the rise of Melaka probably have brought with him a Bible NOT in the Native Language of the locals of our land.
  3. In order to propagate his religion, he/she would need to translate the bible into the Native Language for ease of dissemination.
  4. Could the process of translation involves the preacher going around asking the locals who and what do you call your god? and given the fact that the majority of the people being muslims would have answered the one and only Allah Subhanahuwataala
  5. Knowing this fact the preacher then conveniently substituted the word God (in his original document) with your name even though every other Bible in the world does not use your name except for those who share the same root language with arabic, so that he could easily achieve his task and also make future efforts of propagating Christianity to the locals a breeze this is in consideration of the fact that God is Tuhan in our language
I have written about this before to inquire of the need to use your name and one soul came to provide a counter argument by asking me to speculate on the number of Malays converts.....does it matter if the number is 100,000 or just 1 person....if the Federal and State Constitution already has provision to protect the Malay Muslims from any form of elements that may lead to conversions........
What if for the sake of settling this issue once and for all, the Malaysian Government ALLOW the production, use and distribution of Bahasa Malaysia Bibles WITHOUT the use of ALLAH as a term of reference to God......Plus this is the time of the INTERNET ANYONE CAN DOWNLOAD AN ONLINE COPY OF THE MALAY BIBLE into their home without the religious authority knowing. Regulations and Enforcement must keep up with the evolution of technology, if regulation are enacted but is too costly to implement or impossible to monitor then the intended objective is not achieved.
Ya Allah Give us Guidance..........I am not someone who is against other religion nor want to stir up negative debates on this particular matter, I am for all Malaysian to live in harmony with one another and have written about this matter before to raise the awareness
Ya Allah Guide Us, Our Leaders and Policy makers to Make the Right Well Informed Choice for the Stability of Our Nation (SatD's Feb 27, 2009 here)

Well....that was 2009, after that I wrote a whole bunch of posts trying to answer those 5 questions....

Not long after Law Bee Lan, the sitting judge for Judicial Review ventured out of her scope to evaluate the Power of the Minister according to the existing laws....It was a rather funny decision, any final year law student can tell you how a Judicial Review should be evaluated...this particular Judge went off the charts...

I wonder why?

Was it the recently acquired Christian Conscience in her? From being a Godless Chinese to discovering Jesus in her University days.....I guess her belief overrides the fact of law....

Anyway folks just a summary of what I've written as a FAQ for anyone wanting to venture into the Allah Ciplak debate....
