Goodbye Ibrahim Hussein

At 14 i was on my first visit to a gallery(after a visit to Gila-Gila Office)....there he was......dressed in all white.......pristine indeed....i walked up to him.....and handed him a piece of paper....

He smiled at me...not a word uttered.....he began scribbling in some cacing strokes that eventually turn out to be a small piece of art.......

15 years later......i was at the Grand-stand of the 1st F1 in Malaysia......there he was again....in all white....i looked at him and smiled.....this time we had a photo together....i said thank u but it was so loud that i couldn't hear myself......

For a man with one eye (no depth of perception) he has achieved so much as an artist....today Malaysia just lost her most famous...
