Ye ke UMNO got nothing to do with the Anti Samy Movement?

KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 (Bernama) -- Umno is not involved in the gathering by the so-called Gerakan Anti-Samy Vellu (GAS) at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) on Sunday, Umno executive secretary Datuk Abd Rauf Yusoh said Tuesday.

Umno did not book the Dewan Merdeka in Putra World Trade Centre as claimed by MIC Youth chief T. Mohan, he said when contacted.

Mohan told a media conference before an MIC Youth meeting Tuesday that he checked with the PWTC this morning and found that the booking was made by Umno at Dewan Merdeka, between 2pm and 5pm on Sunday.

He said he did not know which level of Umno was involved but "maybe one or two people".

He said police should not give permits for such illegal rally because GAS was not a registered body.

He also gave a warning that MIC members who joined the rally would be referred to the party's disciplinary committee.

Asked if there would be more expulsions, he said that if there were "diseased people" planning to destroy the party, that would be the solution.

MIC president Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu has so far sacked four members, including central working committee members K.P. Samy and G. Kumar Amman, who joined the campaign asking him to quit now instead of eight or nine months before his term expires in May 2012, as stated by him.

What if next year DAP or PAS or KeAdilan wants to sewa the Dewan for an Anti Najib Event....

A lot of folks like to see Samy go........mamat ni dah kaduluarsa.......

But this is one of your component party....albeit one that is becoming irrelevant....let them implode from the inside.....no need to campur tangan....just let them be......you already got other parties that can take over their role........
