Hub Hub Hub.........What is a Hub by the way in the interlinked global economy?

Do we really need a hub if everything is interconnected?

Do we still need to operate in a Hub and Spoke environment? Why can’t we just connect directly to individual markets or create regional economic blocks strong enough as envisioned under Asean Economic Community Blueprint?

Gua mau tanye same lu.....what is the benefit to the Muslim Ummah in Malaysia and the world at large for the creation of these "Islamic" hubs?

Why dont we focus on Islamic Medicine instead (Thank u Mak Teh for the inspiration!)

Simple deal.....If you believed that Allah spoke via Jibrail to Prophet Muhammad SAW......then the medicines used during the times of the Prophet (used/prescribed by the Prophet) MUST have been Allah's Medicines......

How many years did the Islamic Empire lead the way in the field of medicine by referring to the Quran and Hadith? Most of modern medicine still has its roots from the research and experiments on these early pioneers......

And did the Prophet not say

"There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its treatment."^[7]

"Make use of medical treatment, for Allah has not made a disease without appointing a remedy for it, with the exception of one disease, namely old age."^[8]

"Allah has sent down both the disease and the cure, and He has appointed a cure for every disease, so treat yourselves medically."^[9]

"The one who sent down the disease sent down the remedy."^[10]

So now what do we need to do?

Are we not home to one of the world most complex ecosystem? say the Danum Valley for instance or maybe the Belum Forest…….

Step 1: Build A world class laboratory for Research and Sample Storage within the vicinity of these sites, preferably within a short drive from nearest entry point ( No need to build corridors please!!)

Step 2: Consolidate all Biological Samples and have the RIGHT to these samples for onward Commercial Production or Harvesting (Foreigners have been stealing samples from us for years you idiot, I’ve personally been on one of these trips deep inside Belum to extract samples with Orang Asli, the finished product is then sold back to us at a HUGE Premium by the Global Pharmas)- advancement in DNA technology allow for accurate profiling of samples

Step 3: Invite Global Pharmaceuticals Co’s to enter into a R&D + production/harvesting agreement with Islamic Profit and Risk Sharing Concept together with our local universities (tax incentives should be part of the package)

Step 4: Build Islamic Medicine Retail Chains similar to Oriental Medicines to be manned by folks (francise method) who are familiar with hadiths (they will be trained by a Qualified Islamic Pharmacist of course!) – This can be one area for active participation by Muslim Bumiputras.

How much would this industry be worth?

How much would the initial capital be to jump start the whole thing by creating the inventory of scientific samples....peanuts i think in comparison to the amount DUMPED for the halal hub white elephants

Can this be the Global Health care Solution from a preventive medicine perspective?
